SHORT FILM SATURDAY: THE TEN STEPS (2004)

A must watch.

maxresdefault3

A young girl babysits in an old house.

Written and directed by Brendan Muldowney.

Starring Jill Harding, William Sullivan and Paula Lee.

Filmed in Ireland.

Ten minutes and nine seconds.

By the time I finished watching The Ten Steps the hair on the back of my neck was standing up stiff as a board. This is one hell of a film that relies not on jump scares but on atmosphere and the pay off is well worth the wait. Throughout the film I expected one thing or another and writer-director Brendan Muldowney thankfully delivered something else altogether. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did.
